Tracks and Echoes Opening Night

DZINE Gallery is pleased to present the group exhibition, Tracks and Echoes. Curated by Philip Bewley, the exhibition showcases new works of art in various media by 22 San Francisco Bay Area artists, with a number of commissioned works created exclusively for the show. For Tracks and Echoes, the artists explore visual, temporal and spatial dimensions using line and repetition in works of fine art.

During the opening night reception, countertenor Matheus Court and pianist Keisuke Nakagoshi from San Francisco’s award-winning Opera Parallèle will perform throughout the evening, inaugurating the company’s six-month residency at DZINE. To end her residency from the previous show, choreographer Amy Seiwert of the Sacramento Ballet will collaborate with Opera Parallèle to provide an accompanying dance to the musical performance. The music will be expressed as an audio-visual performance in collaboration with NOS Visuals of Future Fires, projected onto the walls above the performers for a truly multidimensional, multimedia experience.

BURNING BRIGHT: Opening Reception

Join us on April 28 for the opening night reception of DZINE Gallery's new group exhibition, BURNING BRIGHT. The show is a result of recent conversations with local artists who are refocusing their practice in a time of political upheaval. The work produced for this show reflects their process of looking inward and expressing their own personal, spiritual and political voices.
