Johnna Arnold is an artist, photographer, educator and urban farmer based in Oakland, California. Her work is concerned with the relationship between herself and massive networks of modern day efficiency, such as the freeway system. She received her MFA from Mills College in 2005. Her work has been exhibited at Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, Traywick Contemporary, Berkeley, and is in the collection of Pier 24 Photography, San Francisco. She teaches at various venues, including the San Francisco Art Institute.
