Johnna Arnold is an artist, photographer, educator and urban farmer based in Oakland, CA. She works with photography, video and installation, focusing on the relationship between herself and the massive networks of modern-day efficiency known as the freeway system. Arnold received her BA in Photography from Bard College and her MFA from Mills College. Her work has been exhibited at the Headlands Center for the Arts, San Francisco Camerawork, the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery, and is in the collection of Pier 24 Photography. Arnold currently teaches classes in photography at the San Francisco Art Institute.
