Sharon Kyle Kuhn is known for her use of texture and materials. Her sculptural works explore the aging process and evoke basic elements of change in our life. Sharon grew up in an industrial area close to Houston and worked in commercial real estate while managing properties and the construction of interior spaces for several years. She went on to attend the art program at New York University and received her BS in art education in 1996. Since then, she has worked in education and has shown in a variety of institutions and has participated in artist residencies at Virginia Center for the Arts and Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts in Wyoming.
Sharon lives and works in Oakland, California.
