Born in Connecticut, Wendy Robushi relocated to California in 1985 and received her Master of Fine Arts in Art Practice from the University of California at Berkeley in 1989. Currently working in cut paper, she has also explored the artistic worlds of clay, sculpture, paint, and wax. She has exhibited her work throughout California, Connecticut and Montana. In 2005, Robushi was one of 130 artists chosen to participate in the public art project “Hearts in San Francisco”. Her work is in permanent collections in Prague, Czechoslovakia, Southern Connecticut State University, and is included in many private collections. In addition to showing at the Triton Museum and the University of Montana, she has been represented by Steel Gallery of San Francisco and ArtWorkSF, San Francisco. Her most recent exhibitions have been at Telegraph Hill Gallery, and Inclusions Gallery, in San Francisco.
